The November Community Block Party, sponsored by Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce, will feature a “What’s Cooking?” theme with a free cooking demonstration by Jeanna Stavas of Whispering Pines Bed and Breakfast.
The event will feature complimentary tastings, and Stavas will also discuss how to maximize all your ingredients to stretch your food dollars.
The party is set to take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church basement, 315 S. 16th St. (across from Hayward Elementary School).
