Liberty Science Center will close until Jan. 12 because of the latest sharp rise in COVID 19 cases.
The center had been planning a number of activities over the school holiday week, but then announced late Thursday that the facility would shut for 3 weeks.
“We are sorry that we won’t see you at the Science Center during the holiday season, but the safety and health of our staff and guests remain our top priorities,” the announcement said.
Advance tickets will be refunded, the announcement said, adding, “Please email guestcomments@lsc.org for a refund. If you would like to reschedule to a future date, please include your preferred date and time in your email.”
