                  The Pensacola Interstate Fair returns Thursday with rides, exhibits, food, and live entertainment.

                  Seven days out is your guide to entertainment events, concerts, festivals and activities in Escambia and Santa Rosa County.

                  MONDAY

                  Chain of Lakes Trail Self-Guided Interpretive Tour

                  Friday, Sept. 3, through Saturday, Nov. 6. Enjoy the scenic route of the Chain of Lakes hiking trail during this beaches to woodlands event. About 1.5 miles in distance, this trail will traverse through many types of natural habitats supported by the park. Learn about the natural habitats as well as other insightful facts about the park and trail. More info: 850-983-5363.

                  Jazz Gumbo

                  6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. This month, Jazz Pensacola features Turquoise Tango performing the music of Billie Holiday. Performing: Mary Chavez, keys/vocals; Steve Douglas, bass; Lukas Alihein, woodwind; Fred Domulot, drums. $10 each for Jazz Pensacola members and guests, $12 for non-members, free for students with ID and military in uniform.                   Monday Night Blues

                  7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District.                   TUESDAY

                  Ghost & Graveyards Tour

                  5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, Oct. 19, 21 and 23. Go Retro, 610 N. Spring St. From fear to laughter and somewhere in between, Go Retro offers the ultimate Halloween experience for adults. This riding tour covers a wide area with stops in the Commercial Business District, Seville, Sanders Beach, North and West Hill. There is a stop at a cemetery and sometimes the driver can arrange for you to visit a haunted house. Designed for mature audiences; parental guidance is strongly advised. More info: 850-466-5220.

                  Bands on the Beach

                  7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach’s popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Mr. Big & The Rhythm Sisters.                   87th annual Pensacola Interstate Fair

                  Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 21 through Oct. 31. Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Highway. The Pensacola Interstate Fair offers 11 days of rides, food, fun, music and gaming for families looking for exciting things to do on a budget. The fair also offers options to save money with Dollar Day on Opening Day Thursday, Midnight Madness Friday specials, and advance Super Saver discount ride wristbands and half-price admission tickets.                   Here Come The Mummies-The Reawakening Tour

                  7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Thursday, Oct. 21. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter, Here Come The Mummies have been delivering their brand of terrifying funk from beyond the grave since the year 2000. While HCTM’s lyrics leave little to the imagination, their wraps have been the topic of much speculation. Some say they are reincarnated Grammy winning studio musicians. $25.                   4 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Oct. 31 and nightly starting Oct. 27. Wales West Light Railway and RV Resort, 13670 Smiley St., Silverhill, Alabama. All aboard the Wales West Pumpkin Patch Express and Scary Night Train. Enjoy an authentic steam train ride to the pumpkin patch, where everyone gets a pumpkin to decorate.                   Third annual Spooktacular Beach-O-Ween

                  4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22. Pensacola Beach. Load up your kids, friends and family and enjoy a Spooktacular Beach-O-Ween celebration along the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. The event includes face painting, arts and crafts activities, a Halloween bounce house, trick or treat candy, hotdogs and special guests. This is a free family-friendly event and costumes are encouraged.

                  Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre: Classic Monsters

                  Pensacola Children’s Chorus presents Ital-iano!

                  Bands on the Blackwater

                  7 p.m. Friday, Oct 22. Jernigan’s Landing on Blackwater River, downtown Milton. Bands on the Blackwater is a free outdoor concert series held Friday nights.                   Taking Stock

                  7:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 through 24. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Taking Stock follows the O’Gara siblings — Gwen, Michael, Kat, and Bobby — as they meet the day after their mother’s funeral to discuss what to do with the family home. As they sift through boxes filled with childhood memories, they unearth more than they bargained for. Can they resolve their issues and come out of this as a family? General admission: $14.                   Cosmic Bowling

                  11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 22 and 23. DeLuna Lanes and Peter B’s Sport Grill, 590 E. Nine Mile Road. Cosmic Bowling is glow-in-the-dark bowling with a dance club atmosphere. The event features a light show, fog machine, and music.                   Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze

                  8 a.m. daily, through Saturday, Nov. 6. Enjoy a hayride around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin. New activities for this year include a .75-mile train ride around the farm and a new innertube hill slide. Other activities include corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal tractor cart racing, hill slides, rat racers, sand box and an 8-acre corn maze with kiddie maze.                   Boo at the Zoo – Trick or Treat Trail

                  10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 16 through 31. Boo at the Zoo offers six days of scare-free, daytime fun for children and their families.                   Frostiana

                  7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. Pensacola High School auditorium, 500 W. Maxwell St. Join the Choral Society of Pensacola as it begins a new chapter in its history with Frostiana.
