LUDINGTON — Quick-Way, Inc. was presented a special tribute recognition from the state of Michigan for its 30-year business anniversary and the success it has achieved.
State Sen. Curt VanderWall (R-Ludington) and state Rep. Jack O’Malley (R-Lake Ann) presented the Ludington-based business with the award recently.
“It is an honor to present this special tribute to Bill Dunn and his team at Quick-Way, Inc.,” said VanderWall in a news release. “It’s always fun to recognize a community-oriented company that puts safety first for its employees. Bill has dedicated over 30 years of his life to building the family-oriented trucking company and that is definitely worth special recognition.”
President and Owner Bill Dunn accepted the award with his wife, Sarah Dunn and daughter, Account Executive Krista Dunn, along with General Manager Melissa Alvarado. Dunn attributes the success and longevity of the company to the support of his family and expressed gratitude for the employees who have been with him since the beginning.
Quick-Way, Inc. is a liquid bulk carrier that is celebrating its 30-year anniversary of serving the Great Lakes and Midwest markets. It employs people in Ludington and Midland, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana, with current openings for its Toledo-based operations.
“Owner William Dunn founded the business on the principles of safety and integrity, and these values continue to drive the company to provide excellent service to its customers and to be an employer of choice for its drivers and staff,” according to a news release.
