With four locations already operating in the Buckeye state, Camping World announced Tuesday that it plans to open two new recreational vehicle super centers in Ohio by fall 2022.
A company press release detailed the purchase agreements for the anticipated development of two separate 15-acre spaces in Ohio as it continues to pursue development opportunities across the country.
One super center will be in Sunbury — just off of I-71 north, and not far from Tanger Outlets — while the other will be in Madison near I-90 west.
Established in 1966 and headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois, Camping World sells a variety of new and used RVs, associated products and other camping equipment at its more than 175 locations in the United States.
“Each location we open across the U.S. represents significant economic impact for the communities and convenient customer service and products for the 5.3 million active customers we serve,” Camping World Holdings CEO and Chairman Marcus Lemonis said in the press release.
Camping World stores already exist in Akron, Piqua and Toledo, while its sister company — Gander RV and Outdoors — has a location in Huber Heights.
